Slow Motion Gun Shots | GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition

This is a clip we recorded a few weeks ago at Freedom Firearms in Battle Creek, Michigan. The original clips were recorded with the Gopro Hero 3 Black Edition camera in 720p at 120fps. Then the video clips were imported into GoPro Studio 2.0 (Free Gopro Video Editing Software) and slowed down to 15fps. Then added the 'pro tune' filter. Finally, I exported in the 1080p HD MP4 format from the default options & uploaded to Youtube.

If you want to check out the NEW slow motion tutorial I made, you can find it HERE ON MY BLOG or jump straight to the YOUTUBE VIDEO. It goes over each step to show you how to make a slow motion video out of your GoPro clips using free video editing software. Thanks for stopping in & feel free to leave your comments. Peace!

  1. Its really a nice video with slow motion. I like it. I just want to know the techniques by which you can make this video. Can i make it by myself? If it is possible then please tell me. I ll wait for your reply. Thank you.

  2. Sorry for the delay Stephen, you can absolutely make slow motion videos by yourself. If you don't have a gopro, use whatever camera you have. You can even use windows movie maker which comes on most computers these days. Apple probably has their own video editor as well. There are speed control options that allow you to slow down or speed up the frame rates. Also, if you're going to make slow motion videos, it's best to record in a higher frame rate so it's not choppy/distorted when you slow it down. Let me know how it turns out!
